POPS is delighted to announce that we are now open to receive bookings and nominations for our 3rd CRYSTAL HEARTS AWARDS 2008. We will be holding this event on 9th October 2008 at the Raddison Edwardian Manchester Hotel. This year our event will be just that little bit extra special, as we will be also celebrating POPS' 20th Anniversary.
CRYSTAL HEARTS AWARDS 2008 is designed to reward examples of outstanding work being carried out across the Criminal Justice System. The event is also designed to promote community engagement, as we hope to introduce Statutory, Private and Voluntary and Community Sector agencies to one another to enable networking and hopefully encourage future partnerships.
We actively encourage offenders, their families and others to nominate any individuals/projects/teams/organisations that have positively touched the lives of those in the Criminal Justice System.
The diversity of delegates attending this event usually ranges from Ministers, Governors, Private/Voluntary and Community Sector Senior/Development Managers, Project workers, families of offenders, ex-offenders and many more. We believe the event is an excellent opportunity for delegates to learn more about the how imprisonment impacts offenders, their families and children. We will be celebrating success stories and meeting different people working within and affected by imprisonment.
We are proud to announce that this year the CRYSTAL HEARTS AWARDS 2008 will be sponsored by both North West and Yorkshire and Humberside HMPS Area Offices, SERCO HMP Doncaster, HMP Manchester, Kalyx HMP&YOI Forest Bank, HMPS Race Advisory Action Group, Cheshire Constabulary and GSL Global HMP Wolds.
